Pitchfork Cheddar

A full bodied, dense and nutty Cheddar from Trethowan’s Dairy in Somerset, with a juicy bite and creamy texture that rolls around the mouth.

Nicknamed the “Aston Martin of Cheddar” by Jamie Oliver, Pitchfork is distinguished by its full-bodied flavour. Named after the real Pitchforks used in the dairy to mix salt into the curds.

Made with unpasteurised, organic cow’s milk.  Produced using animal rennet, wrapped in lard and clothbound, this cheese is therefore unsuitable for vegetarians.
