Tunworth

This Camembert-style cheese is made in Basingstoke, Hampshire, with milk from a single herd of cows from a local farm. It has classic truffle and vegetal flavours and an unctuous, oozy paste. Unlike a traditional Normandy Camembert where the milk is skimmed for butter-making, all of the fat goes into a Tunworth giving it a rich, fudgy character. Great on the Christmas table, and wonderful baked in its box too.
